Southern Woods Rider Celebrates the 20th Anniversary for the Fall Trail Ride Oct 20 – 22nd

Southern Woods Rider invites you to attend the 20th Anniversary of the Fall Trail Ride at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. At last years event, there were over 900 Dirt Bike and ATV riders from around the nation in attendance over the three-day event. To cover all levels of riding skills SWR prepares a small beginners loop near the campground area, a 3 to 5-mile novice loop and a 15 to 20-mile main loop. In addition, we have a Friday Night Poker Run and a Saturday night banquet. The banquet is a big hit so we have limited the attendance to 300 meal tickets. During the banquet we give out special awards and acknowledgments to the event volunteers, touch on any important off-road news and giveaway many great door prizes.

SWR continues the strong tradition of the fall ride in the education of participants on safety and trail etiquette while continuing to bring riders of all ages exhilarating riding opportunities. All ATV and Dirt Bike riding responsible individuals and families are welcome to attend. Learn more at http://southernwoodsrider.com/offroadtrail

Loretta Lynn Ranch to host Tennessee Motorcycles & Music Revival

The Loretta Lynn Ranch will host a five-day music and motorcycle revival this fall, the rural recreational facility announced Monday.

The Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival will be held Sept. 28-Oct. 1 in Hurricane Mills and will feature “Loretta’s Ride for Mission 22,” a charity ride that benefits Mission 22, an organization that provides treatment programs for post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries while raising awareness on the issue of veteran suicide.

“We’ve been having motorcycles here forever with the AMA and all year long thousands of people riding into camp at the Ranch. This is what we do here and I’m so excited for this new one to happen,” Lynn said in a news release.

The event will feature “live music at multiple locations, a variety of entertainment, specialty food trucks, premium and primitive camping sites, vendors and plenty of riding,” according to a news release.

Riders can camp, park RVs, and special VIP passes will grant revival-goers first access to reserve cabins and premium full hook-ups for RVs.

Musician lineups, specific events, and other details have yet to be announced.
