THE SHOW MUST GO ON: LORETTA LYNN RANCH CONCERT FEATURING RAY PRICE

When doctor’s orders forced Loretta Lynn to cancel her September 3rd concert at her Hurricane Mills ranch, Ray Price graciously stepped in to headline. Despite her absence, the evening was filled with music and memories aplenty.

The first portion of the show featured three of Loretta’s grandchildren: David, Emmy Rose and Jennafer. Well on his way to becoming a guitar master, David kicked off the evening with two songs, including his take on “Jessie’s Girl.” Next up was Emmy Rose, who opened with a song she wrote, titled “American Lie.” She then wowed the crowd with her rendition of The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young.” Jennafer also charmed the audience with two songs, including an original tune titled “Seasons Change.”

Led by longtime band leader Bart Hansen, The Coal Miners (Loretta’s band) shared several crowd-pleasing tunes.
