The Loretta Lynn Ranch will be closed on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6 due to weather conditions.
MX Sports, producer of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn Ranch, has announced the tentative 2015 Area Qualifier and Regional Championship Schedules.
Taking place in 32 states throughout the country, this season’s schedule of 55 Area Qualifiers will begin in February and run through the end of May. The 13 Regional Championships will run in eight major geographical regions throughout the United States, taking place in late May and through the month of June.
The Area Qualifiers serve as the first step in qualifying for the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross championship. The Regional Championships then serve as the next step to seed riders into the National Championship at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. Only riders who finish in a qualifying position at a Regional Championship are eligible to race the National in August.

For fifty years now, Loretta has fashioned a body of work as artistically and commercially successful-and as culturally significant-as any female performer you’d care to name. Her music has confronted many of the major social issues of her time, and her life story is a rags-to-riches tale familiar to pop, rock and country fans alike. The Coal Miner’s Daughter-the tag refers to a hit single, an album, a best-selling autobiography, an Oscar-winning film, and to Lynn herself-has journeyed from the poverty of the Kentucky hills to Nashville super-stardom to her current status as an honest-to-goodness American icon.
“Before country was ‘cool,’ Crystal was ‘class’…”
Never has one reviewer captured a platinum clad, Grammy Award winning career so beautifully in so few words.
Crystal encapsulates everything the dazzling qualities of her name implies-although that name came to her in quite an unusual fashion. “Crystal” came at the suggestion of Brenda Gayle Webb’s older sister, Loretta Lynn-who knowing there was already a ‘Brenda Lee’ currently successful in the music industry-suggested her younger sibling adopt the name ‘Crystal’ when she began recording.
